Rostec says resists almost daily strong cyberattacks since Feb

MOSCOW, Mar 11 (PRIME) -- Russian state industrial corporation Rostec has been registering almost daily massive cyberattacks on its website since the end of February, the company said on Friday in a statement.

“Rostec has become target for massive cyberattacks, unpreceded by strength,” the company said.

“Today, at 11.30 (a.m. Moscow time), a new attack started, it was orchestrated by Ukraine’s radicals, ‘an order’ for the attack appeared this morning on Telegram. It’s clear that the perpetrators are worried by our work aimed to strengthen the country, its economy, and defense ability.”

Rostec added it had to mute the website briefly, but the attack was fended off, and the resource now works.
